Here are a few more items that draw lines you can use to create a flattering look, showcase your best features and play down your "liabilities."
The straps of simple tank tops can deliver more than just the support of a brief coverup. Your straps can narrow or broaden the look of your shoulders and also balance your total look. Select from spaghetti straps, broad ones or opt for halter or racer back styles. Where and how strong the line you establish will make a difference.
The lines of your underwear can be positive or negative.
The support of a good-fitting bra will definitely improve the line of your look.
Ill-fitting underwear can draw lines where there should be none. In this case erase lines that are created by tight elastic briefs by selecting your best fit. The right pantyline is invisible.
Zipper: It can be sewn in to be an invisible closure. However it can also be visible and a focal point that draws the line to where it is positioned. Thin or thick, in any colour or in any metal the exposed zipper will define the lines of any piece of clothing. You can find them down the front or back of any item of clothing, at the end of a sleeve or pant leg or on any pocket. They draw a line and thus deliver more than just the function for which they were intended.
Tattoos: Tats decorate your skin and definitely capture attention when they are exposed. If this is your look you can capitalize on your investment by placing them where you want others to look: be that your wrist, arm, ankle, neck or anywhere.
Tan lines: These lines do draw the eye so when you are dressing up and they are distracting from your intended look, you can use makeup to blur the lines and make them disappear.
Glasses: Eyewear comes in all shapes, weights and colours. Frame your eyes with lines in colours that look best on you.
Facial features: Eyebrows, eyes, cheeks and lips can each be defined and accentuated with lines of colour. Draw these lines so you look your best and the results will be more than pleasing; they will make every moment a photographic one.
Character lines: Enjoying life's moments will sometimes give you smile lines. They animate your face and make you unique and special. Take care of your skin and minimize small wrinkles and fine lines and accept the character of the lines that define you.
Knowing what to use and where to draw your best lines will prove to be a valuable tool so you are in control of your total look when you dress. It will pay off every time you pull your look together. Keep the attention where you want it and then wear your clothes confidently, certain that your best lines are drawn.
