Get your thyroid and blood sugar checked and find out if you've ever had or could have an ovarian cyst. If you've had low blood sugar it could be causing you problems, and the weight gain could be part of this as well. Get yourself an appointment with a hormone specialist. It's worth checking up on for both pregnancy and your health.
