Have you ever enjoyed the amenities at a luxury hotel so much that you never wanted to come home? Well, if you lived in a condo at LIDO by Bosa Properties, that would probably never happen. In fact, chance are you'd never want to go on vacation again. That's because this Southeast False Creek development offers all the premium extras of a five-star boutique hotel.
On the seventh floor, condo dwellers can enjoy a private outdoor pool with a resort-like deck - complete with wifi network, changing rooms, deluxe lounge furniture and heated covered cabanas. There's also a concierge that makes cappuccinos at the front desk for all guests and residents coming and going. As well, each suite in this 183-unit building comes with a vanishing TV mirror in the bathroom.
Construction on this 19-story building is about to begin and will be ready for occupancy by summer of 2014. That said, about 65% of the units have already been sold. Why so much early bird interest? Several reasons, really. There's the location: one block from the Main Street SkyTrain station and one block from the seawall.
Plus, it's a Bosa development, which means it's built to last, the finishes are top of the line and if you want to resell, no problem. Bosa's been a trusted name in Lower Mainland for more than 40 years. So basically, all you have to do is put "built by Bosa" in a sales listings, and your condo will get scooped up in record timing.
And then there's the incentives. Pre-sale prices, which start at $348,900 for one bedrooms and $495,900 for two bedrooms, include two years worth of free maintenance fees - a savings of $5,000 to $10,000 (depending on the size of your condo). And if you buy now, coffee's on Bosa for the first two years as well. So if you have a pricey cappuccino habit, that could save you another couple of grand. But these pre-sale specials are only on until the sales centre closes down next month. So if the idea of lounging poolside and sipping margaritas without having to board a plane appeals to you, you might want to go pay LIDO a visit sooner than later.
For more info, check out the sales centre at 1650 Quebec St. Open 12-6 p.m. daily until June 15.
