Kate Middleton has been named the ideal woman in a poll of British men.
A survey carried out by Lynx showed that men prefer a woman's personality over her looks, with brainy women ranking high on their lists. A whopping 72% of respondents said the biggest turn-on is a great personality, while 50% said intelligent women are their types.
Men also said they preferred Middleton types, with long, dark hair and blue eyes, who enjoy movies, music and travel. Coveted traits in the opposite sex include sensitivity and a good sense of humour.
Just 6% of men said they go for high-maintenance women, and only 5% said they would want to date a party animal like Rihanna.
Psychologist David Lewis says, "The findings suggest that male and female roles are evolving as what men look for in a woman are becoming more in line with what women typically look for in a man. Although we are initially attracted to someone through physical features, it’s now more important to people that their partners are companions rather than trophies."
