Chakras rainbow improves harmony 0
This orange couch may give a room a feeling of openness.
The use of colour becomes a healing and harmonious vibrational energy in the surroundings of our environment.
Within our own human bodies rest seven primary energy centres. In Sanskrit, these 'chakras,' or wheels of energy, follow the spine corresponding with rainbow colours, music keynotes, foods, aromas, gemstones, positive affirmations and glands in the body.
When our chakras are in tune with one another, we feel physically, spiritually and mentally healthy and harmonious. The mind and body freely flow with energy, happiness, wholeness and an overall well-being.
The root chakra at the base of the spine is represented by the colour red. Trust, security and stability stem from here, controlled by the adrenal gland, where courage and the power to achieve goals arise.
When feeling ungrounded and insecure, red surroundings bring one's feet back down to earth to feel stable and rooted in life (Benjamin Moore's Tea 2091-10). "I have" is the affirming thought.
Located by the sacrum, between the navel and the tailbone is the sacral chakra, for the colour orange. Near the bladder and reproductive organs, the sacral chakra controls pleasure in life, desire, procreation and relationships. The "I feel" creative power of orange transforms and allows us to open to others (Spiced rum CC-272).
At the solar plexus between our chest and navel is a sunny yellow ready to brighten us up with radiant light and social energy. Peace, vitality and inner joy reside here. (Dijon CC-210)
This "I can" energy allows us to accept ourselves while growing in our personal power.
Next is the "I love" heart chakra at the centre of the chest. Green is all about unconditional love, healing, the immune system, forgiveness and transformation. If you put your heart into everything you do and share it with others, then green surroundings communicate your openness to love (Green gables CC-668).
The throat chakra is where we find our source for expression.
Blue represents the arms, neck, throat, jaw and voice. When there is a blockage, we may find a need to be heard to express ourselves. Communication, wisdom and freedom lie in blue surroundings (Wedgewood gray HC-146).
Freely express your thoughts, wisdom and speak your truth with any shade of blue.
Individual colour choices will have the chakras spinning like disco balls, creating happy homes and hearts.
