WINNIPEG - The campaign to add the Bay of Fundy to the list of the world's new seven wonders will get some needed support Friday when two provincial premiers will urge their colleagues and Canadians to support their bid.
"A hundred billion tonnes of water goes in and out of the Bay of Fundy in every tidal cycle," Nova Scotia Premier Darrell Dexter told QMI Agency, barely able to contain his excitement.

Not only are the Bay of Fundy's tides the highest in the world but they also contain more than the flow of all the water in all the rivers in the world, he said.
"It is a truly spectacular natural wonder that we have in Canada."
Dexter and New Brunswick Premier Shawn Graham plan to show their provincial and territorial counterparts a promotional video during the Council of the Federationšs breakfast meeting and seek support for the Bay of Fundy's bid to be the next must see tourist destination in the country.
"There are 28 sites around the world now in the running for the natural seven wonders of the world contest," said Graham. "We are the only Canadian entry in the running, we are one of only two entries in North America with the Grand Canyon being the only entry right now on the short list."
"Everyone knows about the Grand Canyon, they have a huge population base in the U.S. to vote for the Grand Canyon," Dexter said. "What we need to do is motivate all our people to go out and vote and understand what this incredible wonder of the world actually is."
