The Ritz-Carlton, Montreal has re-opened after an extensive renovation.
The prestigious Sherbrooke Street hotel now offers 98 guest rooms and 31 suites. The Royal suite in particular becomes the largest Montreal hotel suite at 436 sq. metres.
The facade of the building was preserved and restored, and public spaces and the rooms have been renovated. The facade, the lobby, the courtyard, the oval room and the garden of the hotel have also been restored.
The transformation of the hotel was done by Quebec firm Provencher Roy and Associates.
The Ritz-Carlton, Montreal welcomes two new features to its newly renovated property: restaurant Maison Boulud, offering seating for 130, and a Tiffany & Co. jewelry shop.
In addition, the hotel offers 45 well-appointed condos, which Ritz-Carlton, Montreal president Andrew Torriani says are about 50% sold out.
