Fashion forward former British Prime Minister Tony Blair arrived at the Sheraton for the Surrey Summit today wearing denim, a blue button down shirt and blazer to match.
After a handshake with Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts, Blair was whisked away to a suite in the luxury hotel.
Half an hour later Blair emerged for a photo opportunity with Watts and Premier Gordon Campbell.
The trio stood awkwardly before a crush of cameras before Blair suggested they be "casual" and have a seat.
Campbell followed the suggestion with an off-the-cuff remark.
"We thought we were going to do this in jeans but we thought we'd have more respect for you," Campbell joked.
Watts and Blair smiled in response.
Blair will deliver the keynote address for the Surrey Summit this afternoon.
