Vancouver police say finding the suspects of Sunday's brutal sexual assault is "unbelievably important" for the department.
The VPD have made the case their top priority, after a 24-year-old woman was savagely beaten and sexually assaulted in a park in the 3800 block of Point Grey Road in the early hours of Sunday morning.
"I can guarantee people in the neighbourhood will be seeing police cars often," said Const. Lindsey Houghton. "This is an unbelievably important case for us to solve."
Investigators were still combing the area, Monday and planned to speak to the victim - who suffered bruises and cuts to her head.
The suspect is described as a medium-skinned male in his 20s, 5'5" - 5'8" tall, with a medium build. His face was concealed and he has a British accent.
