The universe keeps whirling on and on.
"Electrons are whirling around the nucleus, the planets are whirling around the sun," said Shaykh Nur, a practitioner of Sufi meditation, which includes Sama, where one spins in a circle while focusing within. "We're trying to learn the state of timelessness and whirl around our heart to access the heart because it the source of light."
Shaykh Nur will spread his philosophy among other exhibitors at the Body, Soul and Spirit Expo at the Vancouver Convention Centre starting today and running through Sunday.
Shaykh Nur plans to sell nothing at the expo intended to help anyone interested to find their path to inner bliss.
"We want to increase awareness and attract a huge community of people who are interested in meditation and spirituality to Sufi meditation," Shaykh Nur said.
