Firefighters survey the damage after an apartment caught fire in Vancouver Thursday morning.

Vancouver firefighters wasted no time putting out an apartment fire Thursday morning.

While coming back from another call, a firefighter noticed smoke coming out of a building at 7th Avenue and St. Catherine's Street in Vancouver and honed in on the blaze.

The fire, which turned out to be in the third-floor apartment, was quickly put out after crews arrived on scene in a matter of minutes.

No one was injured and all the occupants were accounted for.
