The online ticket window for the 2010 Winter Olympics opens for the third and last time Saturday, but will stay open until the last ticket is sold.
VANOC marketing vice-president Caley Denton said yesterday 100,000 tickets for Vancouver events will be available first-come, first-serve Saturday at 10 a.m. Pacific. A virtual waiting room will be employed to manage demand. Names of acts playing the nightly medals ceremonies will be announced tomorrow.
Denton said VANOC's official ticket resale site is under construction, as is a bricks and mortar ticket office at Robson Square. Both could be ready later this month. Tickets will be delivered to buyers beginning in December.
"We're really confident we'll be as sold out as we can get," Denton said.
