If I had fifty million dollars, I would ...

By MATT KIELTYKA

The biggest lottery prize in Canadian history is up for grabs in Friday's LOTTO MAX draw.

The lottery has already maxed out its $50 million jackpot as British Columbians scoop up tickets, and another $10 million will be available in smaller MAXMILLIONS prizes. 24 hours hit the streets to see what Vancouverites would do with $50 million, and were hardly surprised many people had a hard time wrapping their head around the staggering jackpot.

Here are some of the best answers:

TAO: I would invest half and save it for when I'm older, so I can take time off to travel. And half of it, I would use it to push the province to build affordable housing.

DANI: I'd quit my job, I'd pay all my bills, I'd take my mom on a trip around the world and then I'd buy where I work and make my boss work for me.

GEMMA: I'd pay my house off, go on a massive holiday and think about the rest. No plan. I never even thought about it, if I had that money.

GILLES: I'm a jazz player, so I'd probably just keep playing jazz until all the money was gone.

JORDAN: $50 million man, I can't even think. Probably pay off my mom's mortgage, buy myself a house somewhere nice and start a business.

CATHY: Part of it for charity. I would give the money to my parents for their business. A car, because I'm taking driving lessons. My dream car would be an Audi.
