Want to check out the West Vancouver digs used as the Cullen house in the Twilight flick New Moon? Get in line.
Since the Arthur Erickson-designed property went on sale a few days ago, the posting on local realtor Jason Soprovich’s website has received over 50,000 hits and has garnered worldwide attention.
“It’s been absolutely incredible,” Soprovich said. “There’s been so many viewings on the website that it almost crushed it.”
Featuring an outdoor pool and hot tub, the three-floor pad at 118 Stevens Dr. is currently on offer for $3.3 million. The home plays an important role in the upcoming New Moon film, setting the scene for Bella’s ill-fated birthday party.
Shortly after the house was listed, Soprovich was contacted by TMZ, followed by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and media giant CNN.
While Soprovich said the exposure has thus far been
“fantastic for the house,” he’s been less than thrilled with the gaggle of teenage girls phoning in.
“They didn’t want to buy at all, they just wanted to sleep there for a few days,” he said.
Such Twihards hoping to catch a glimpse of the residence where Rob Pattinson once tread should note only serious buyers will snag a house-viewing.
“It’s pretty simple to weed out whose looking for the sake of looking,” Soprovich said.
