iPhone devotees will attempt to land the handset in the Guinness Book of World Records tomorrow at a forum on mobile computing.
Genius Factor Games will lead the tech-savvy crowd in an attempt to create the largest online photo mosaic named U Are The Star using iPhones.
Participants will snap a mug shot of themselves and upload it to a program that will create the mosaic.
"The Apple iPhone has proven itself to be a true game-changer making mobile, socially connected digital entertainment a reality to all," said Genius Factor president Ted Nugent.
The stunt is part of Vancouver's first iPhone forum on the development of applications for Apple touch devices and leveraging those applications to create a larger market share.
The event, at BCIT's downtown campus, opens with an address from Apple Inc. followed by a number of experts on doing business in a growing Web 2.0 market.
