Toronto cops aren't seeing an increasing West Coast gang presence in town.
That's despite the murder of Vancouver's Shane Kelter, who was gunned down while exiting a limo in Toronto's Bay Street.
Kelter, 32, was a known member of the Lower Mainland's Independent Soldiers gang and was implicated in a drug ring in California.
Vancouver is often cited as a distribution hub for organizations moving drugs across North America, but Toronto Police Service spokesperson Const. Tony Vella hasn't noticed a growth of B.C. thugs moving in with B.C. bud.
"In my experience, I haven't seen an increase on that level, of people coming from Vancouver to Toronto for that purpose," he said.
