Police are no closer to solving the murder of Lisa Francis months after her body washed up in the Fraser River.
Vancouver police found Francis' body July 23 and immediately asked the public for assistance.
But despite the initial plea and a $10,000 reward later posted, tips have been scarce.
Vancouver police took the next step yesterday, by erecting a billboard on East Cordova Street, near Heatley Avenue, with the sex trade worker's photo on it and a renewed plea for help.
"Between the billboard and the $10,000 reward, we're hoping to generate some tips to help recreate the timeline leading to Lisa's murder," said VPD spokesperson Const. Lindsey Houghton.
"Investigators are working tirelessly on this file."
Francis was reported missing July 10 and police have little information on what happened in the 13 days between the dates she went missing and was found dead.
Anyone with information is requested to call investigators at 604-717-2500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
