British Columbians are more paranoid about losing their jobs than other Canadians.
According to the December RBC Canadian Consumer Outlook, job anxiety in B.C. is the highest in the country at 29 per cent, compared to the national average of 21 per cent.
Not only are British Columbians the most worried about job security, the survey also found we're least willing to go shopping in the New Year.
"British Columbians are feeling very tentative about their current financial situation," said RBC's Graham MacLachlan, the regional president for B.C.
Maybe they're bracing for a big Olympic bill?
