Four years later and still no clues to murder

By MATT KIELTYKA

Four years ago the body of 22-year-old Bobby Atwal was found underneath the Queensborough Bridge in New Westminster.

Many questions ensued, but none have been answered.

"We don't have any answers, it's been very difficult for our family," said Bobby's father, Karn, yesterday.

The Atwal family was back at the scene of the grisly discovery yesterday to tearfully plead for any information that can help police proceed with their case.

"There is still $25,000 there for someone to come forward and help the family," Karn said. "Time has not helped. This is my son, what would you do?"

Integrated Homicide Investigation Team spokesperson Cpl. Dale Carr said police believe there are still people out there who know what may have happened to Bobby but haven't come forward.

Carr said police have an eye on a few suspects. Anyone with info is asked to call 1-877-551-4448 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
