Langley woman caught 3x over limit faces impaired driving charges 0

By Michael Mui, 24 Hours Vancouver

Mounties have recommended impaired driving charges against a Langley woman who crashed in a three-car pileup Saturday.

The 29-year-old, whose name has not been released, had drank three times over the legal limit - before driving with her two-year-old toddler in the car.

The woman's truck, a Ford F-150, is alleged to have rear-ended a car in the 6200 block Mufford Crescent, causing a chain pileup.

"Motorists choosing to operate a vehicle impaired in Langley are taking monumental risks," said Cpl. Holly Marks in a statement.

"They risk getting caught . they risk financial hardship . worst of all, they risk taking a life - perhaps even the life of someone they love."
