Surrey Mounties probe overnight shooting 0
Surrey Mounties are investigating an overnight shooting Sunday morning at the Legion veterans' organization in Whalley.
Insp. Randall Marquardt said police were called to the 13500 block of 106th Avenue around 3:45 a.m. in response to multiple shots fired. They found a party attendee in his 60s outside, wounded with non-life-threatening injuries.
"It turns out the party was emptying and the shooter was waiting for the victim outside," Marquardt said. "The victim knows who the shooter is."
However, there's currently no suspect information available.
