A group of Zellers workers at Brentwood Mall won a $1 million LOTTO MAX jackpot in the June 15 draw, just months before their store is due to shut down.

Splitting the pot 24 ways, each will receive $41,666.67.

All but two work at the Zellers.

"This is such good news. We had been told a couple of months ago that our store would be closing next March," said group trustee Doris Knoll.
