One-time Vancouver rockers Heart kicks off the PNE's Summer Night Concerts series Aug. 18, while 1970s superstar Olivia Newton John closes the annual fair Sept. 3, organizers announced Monday.

Also confirmed for the shows that are free with admission, are former teen idols Hanson, ex-Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and Rick Springfield, and country acts Juice Newton, Emerson Drive and Chad Brownlee.

Toronto's Our Lady Peace are among a strong group of rock acts performing, along with Down with Webster and local legends Trooper and Prism.

Also on the bill is soul/funk legends Tower of Power, The Manhattan Transfer and Lifehouse, among others.

The WestJet Family Fun Series includes performances by rising teen stars Victoria Duffield, Charlie, Tyler Medeiros, and the oldest teen, DJ Red Robinson, presenting Aloha Elvis! For a full lineup, visit www.pne.ca.
