Crown approves 66 more Stanley Cup-related charges


The Crown has approved 66 Stanley Cup riot-related charges against 23 more individuals over the last two months, bringing the total to 137 people charged in the June 15, 2011 mayhem, according to the latest updates released.

Crown spokesman Neil MacKenzie confirmed in a statement Friday three young people are among those newly charged since the Integrated Riot Investigation Team's last update June 12. Two of the youth face charges of assault. The third was charged with arson and having face disguised with intent to commit an offence. None can be named due to their age.

One man, Samuel Joseph Ham, was also charged with possession of an incendiary device.
