They took his dinner and chased him into a dried fishpond, all because he didn't want to give them a piece of chicken.

Langley RCMP is seeking five young suspects, one of whom allegedly struck the victim repeatedly after his request for food was declined.

The attack happened when the victim was returning home, on a walking path near the Fraser Highway, with a bucket of chicken and drinks on the Aug. 31 afternoon.

They also took his wallet, keys and four cans of beer. The attackers are described as between 11 to 16. One had a three-digit numerical tattoo on his neck, starting with the number seven.
