Premier on the defensive 0
Premier Christy Clark defended her comments that Victoria is a "sick culture," at a press conference Wednesday.
Clarifying comments she made in an earlier interview with the National Post,
Clark explained she was referring to the legislature - not the people of Victoria.
"My point was when a politician sits in the grounds of the legislature, and spends most of their time there, they're talking to pundits and they're talking to each other. You cannot build a government that responds to the needs of British Columbians if you're not out there listening to them," she said.
The opposition has criticized Clark for not holding a fall legislative session.
