Another group of speedy youngsters - two of them Chinese nationals - were nabbed and ticketed by police over the weekend on Highway 1 in Chilliwack.

The drivers of the vehicles were all from Richmond, ranging between 19- to 20-years-old. All were charged with "drive without reasonable consideration," which comes with a $196 fine, and had licences suspended 15 days.

Police impounded a 2013 Audi, a 2013 Land Rover and a 2011 BMW. Police couldn't catch up with a fourth driver reported by witnesses to be also racing.

"The witness stated that the vehicles were travelling in excess of 130 km/h and were passing vehicles on the shoulder of the roadway," said RCMP Sgt. Peter Thiessen in a statement.

"Two of the vehicles were safely pulled over by officers and the third associated vehicle returned to the area."
