MONTREAL – The owner of the store targeted in Thursday’s shooting in
downtown Montreal that left two people dead has been arrested.
Ducarme Joseph was arrested for breach of conditions in connection with an
armed assault.
He was arrested for allegedly associating with two men that he had been
prohibited from having contact with.
Ducarme was the target of an attack at an upscale clothing boutique in
downtown Montreal on Thursday afternoon. Two people were killed and two
others were seriously injured in the shooting.
Joseph will appear in court on Saturday.
