TORONTO - She’s still got a few of those 15 minutes of fame left.

Former Miss Universe Canada contestant Sophie Froment, who was booted from the contest after an Ashley Madison.com ad where she took it all off surfaced online, has a new partner, at least for an MTV promo.

The jilted beauty queen told the Sun she was one of the extras in a video for the MTV video music awards that features hip hop superstar Drake.

Earlier this year, Froment was sent packing by the pageant on the same day the Sun ran a front page story about her steamy ad for AshleyMadison.com, a website that bills itself as a place where married people looking to have an affair can connect.

“Although they chose to judge me and unfairly kick me out, I’ve gotten more job offers since leaving,” Froment said Tuesday. “I don’t regret doing the commercial at all.”

Since the pageant scandal, Froment has taken a full-time job with the infidelity website working as a translator. She’s also got another commercial for the website on the way this fall.

Although she’s not Miss Universe Canada, Froment says she’s happier without the crown.

“Drake is definitely better than anything in the world,” she said.

Sadly, Froment added, she didn’t actually get to meet the star during filming of the black and white video with a 50’s motif.

But Froment could be in trouble again.

Shannon Brand, the video’s producer, was surprised to hear Froment was talking publicly about the shoot.

Brand said those cast in the video had to sign a confidentiality agreement.

“She shouldn’t be discussing events on the set,” she said.
