Police have closed streets in an area near Toronto's financial district after a stream of broken glass fell from the Trump Tower.
The glass fell from the 30th or 50th floor around 5:30 a.m. Saturday. No injuries were reported.
"The winds are blowing things around and we have the streets blocked off because there is the possibility more could fall. We are dealing with it," said Staff Sgt. Greg Thorp.
There is no time estimate on when the streets in the Bay and Adelaide area may reopen, although police cautioned streets may remain blocked and traffic diverted well into the evening or early Sunday.
