LIFE BEGINS IN THE BOWL

Two Winnipeg cops are being hailed for reviving an unresponsive newborn a few seconds after its mother gave birth squatting over a toilet in the bathroom of her family's home Sunday afternoon.

One officer plucked the silent baby from the water-filled toilet and began CPR, eventually getting the child to breathe on its own.
