Wall of Sound coming up

BOB MACKIN, 24 HOURS

- THE BUZZ

The Seattle Sounders make their final USL First Division regular season visit to Swangard Stadium tonight to face the Vancouver Whitecaps. (Team 1040/team1040.ca/Fox Soccer Channel).

- SEE YOU IN MLS?

The 2-1-3 Sounders are moving to Major League Soccer in 2009 under the ownership of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and funnyman/game show host Drew Carey. He apparently invested because the price was right.

- SEBRANGOALS

Eduardo Sebrango has scored all three goals for the 3-1-1 Whitecaps. USL rookie goalkeeper Serge Djekanovic has four shutouts. Leighton O'Brien, Josh Gardner and Sebastien Le Toux each have two goals for Seattle.

- ON THE ROAD AGAIN

The Whitecaps finish the May schedule on the road at the Portland Timbers (Saturday), Charleston Battery (Wednesday) and Minnesota Thunder (May 31).

- O CANN-ADA

Whitecaps' captain Adrian Cann joins Canada's national team in Seattle on Sunday to prepare for a May 31 Qwest Field friendly against No. 2-ranked Brazil. Canada visits St. Vincent and the Grenadines on June 15 for a World Cup qualifier.

- DOUBLEHEADER

It'll be a nice night for soccer, so why not play two? Come early to see the women host the Los Angeles Legends at 5 p.m. The Whitecaps eked out a 2-2 tie in their May 17 W-League home opener with the Ventura County Fusion.
