24 seconds with Travis Lulay
By 24 HOURS
The 25-year-old QB from Aumsville, Oregon signed with the Lions this May after impressing at training camp. This season, he's completed eight passes for 109 yards for B.C. 24 hours: The NFL started this past weekend, did you catch any of the games? #14 Travis Lulay: I watched the [Seattle] Seahawks play, I watched the Monday night games. I was out and about most of the weekend doing stuff, I didn't see a ton of it but obviously I watched all the replays. 24: Which game did you think was the best? #14: It was good to see the Seahawks win, it was good to see them get off on the right track. Obviously New England too, Tom Brady making a couple great throws late. It was just fun to see the NFL going again. 24: You've been on the New Orleans and Seattle rosters in the past, do you root for them still? #14: I do a little bit. You develop a relationship with some guys. And Drew Brees is playing unbelievably well down there. I always tend to root for the guys that I know or have a bit of relationship with, so that's pretty cool. 24: You come from a town of about 3,000. Do you prefer a small town or a big city? #14: I'm kind of a small town guy. I just grew up there and I love it, that's what I know. Vancouver is very different for me, I like the city but I'm just used to the small town stuff. 24: What's your favourite part about being in Vancouver? #14: There's just so much going on. It feels like anything you want to do is within your fingertips. If I want to go fishing somewhere, I can go fishing. Just knowing all that stuff is so readily available is very cool. |
