No big moves for Argos

By 24 HOURS NEWS SERVICES

Dominique Dorsey probably will be as good as it gets for the Argonauts.

That's not necessarily a bad thing, but as the teams they're fighting with for a playoff spot that gets further away with each passing week try to bulk up, the Argos aren't about to make a splash.

Most figure the 2009 Argos are dead in the water anyway.

"I don't see a blockbuster trade down the road, no," head coach Bart Andrus said yesterday. "We're just like anybody else in the league, trying to take what we have a surplus of and turn that into something we don't have. (But) we don't have any big trade in the works."

The Lions (5-6) are being chased by the Argos and Bombers, both 3-8, for the probable final playoff berth. But neither the Argos nor Bombers has done much to suggest it is up for a true run at the Lions.
