The unbeaten Minnesota Vikings (6-0) held on to beat Baltimore 33-31 for their sixth straight win yesterday after the Ravens (3-3) missed a field goal on the final play of the game.
Vikings quarterback Brett Favre threw three touchdown passes and rallied Minnesota to a two-point lead on Ryan Longwell's 31-yard field with 1:56 remaining.

- Drew Brees tossed four TD passes to help the New Orleans Saints win the battle of undefeated teams by crushing the New York Giants 48-27.
- The Houston Texans (3-3) roared into Cincinnati and offed the Bengals (4-2) by a 28-17 score.
- Not to be outdone by Saints QB Drew Brees, the New England (4-2) Patriots' No. 1 man Tom Brady threw for six touchdowns in a 59-0 decimation of the visiting Tennessee Titans (0-6).
- The visiting Arizona Cardinals (3-2) laid waste to Seattle in a 27-3 dismantling of QB Matt Hasselbeck (10-29, 112 yards) and the woeful Seahawks (2-4).
- The Buffalo Bills (2-4) pulled off a thrilling OT road win with a 16-13 victory over the New York Jets (3-3).
- The St. Louis Rams (0-6) continued their pathetic start to the season, dropping a 23-20 OT decision to the hometown Jacksonville Jaguars (3-3).
- The Philadelphia Eagles (3-2) lost 13-9 to the hometown Oakland Raiders (2-4).
- The Carolina Panthers (2-3) contributed to the winless record of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-6) with a 28-21 road win.
- The Kansas City Chiefs (1-5) won their first game of the season with a 14-6 win in Washington over the Redskins (2-4).
- The Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) rode QB Ben Roethlisberger's arm to a 27-14 home win over the Cleveland Browns (1-5).
