New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady gave his backing to NFL games in London after leading his team to a 35-7 rout of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers yesterday.
"I'm all for it. It was a fun experience for all of us," he told reporters after the game at Wembley Stadium which attracted a sell-out crowd of 84,254.

- The Pittsburgh Steelers twice took advantage of fourth-quarter mistakes by quarterback Brett Favre to end the Minnesota Vikings' six-match unbeaten start to the NFL season with a 27-17 victory.
- The Kansas City Chiefs (1-6) delivered a poor performance in front of their hometown fans, getting shellacked 37-7 by the San Diego Chargers (3-3).
- The Green Bay Packers (4-2) ruined many a fan's experience in Cleveland (1-6), dumping the hometown Browns 31-3.
- The Indianapolis Colts (6-0) remained undefeated with a 42-6 thrashing of the winless Rams (0-7) in St. Louis.
- The Houston Texans (4-3) edged out the visiting San Francisco 49ers (3-3) by a 24-21 score.

- The Chicago Bears (3-3) were soundly dissected by QB Carson Palmer's five TD passes in the Cincinnati (5-2) Bengals' 45-10 win.
- The visiting Buffalo Bills (3-4) came out on top 20-9 over the Carolina Panthers (2-4).
- The New Orleans Saints (6-0) maintained their undefeated record, crushing the hometown Miami Dolphins (2-4) by a score of 46-34.
