The former Eskimos running Back signed with B.C. this year and started his first game for the Leos two weeks ago against Winnipeg. The 25-year-old Wheaton, Illinois native also played for the Cologne Centurions of NFL Europe in 2007.
24 hours: You’ve played in NFL Europe. How does the atmosphere there compare to North America?
#34 A.J. Harris: It’s the same thing, basically. We were having great turnouts every game, very relatable to here. Over there, soccer is a different breed. Soccer games would be ridiculous, like people fighting to get in. Our games would still have some seats.
24: What about Canada with the States?
#34: Some of these places up here, it’s not as that many people but just the atmosphere, and the fans, and how people act and stuff, it’s just so much more intimidating.
24: Having played in Edmonton last season, do you prefer the snow there or the rain here?
24: Next week, B.C. will play Edmonton, is that game marked on your calendar?
#34: Oh man, I can’t wait. I wanted to play in the last one, at least I was fortunate enough to travel there. I’m definitely looking forward to it even though a lot of the defensive starters there are gone.
