Canada's game, Saskatchewan's party.
With a 27-17 win Sunday afternoon over the Calgary Stampeders, the Saskatch- ewan Roughriders are off to the Grey Cup. For the first time since 1949, the Riders and Montreal Alouettes will meet in the championship game.
Darian Durant threw touchdowns to Chris Getzlaf, Andy Fantuz and Rob Bagg, while Luca Congi booted two field goals as the Riders defence stole the show from the defending Grey Cup champs.
The Riders erased an early 10-point deficit and kept the pressure on Henry Burris until the end. Rey Williams had three sacks, while Eddie Davis and Lance Frazier had second-half interceptions.
After the teams played to a 10-10 tie at halftime, Jason Armstead came out and got the home side going with a 75 yard return to set up an Andy Fantuz touchdown reception.
When the Riders next got the ball, Armstead took a handoff and tossed a bomb to Rob Bagg for a 42-yard gain. Bagg finished off the drive to give the home team a 24-11 lead.
The Stamps then started to implode with two interceptions. Just after the three-minute warning, the Stamps turned it over on downs to basically seal it.
