The Edmonton Oilers like Dany Heatley.
The feeling may not be mutual.
League sources say the Oilers are one of the two teams that have contacted Senators GM Bryan Murray about the disgruntled Ottawa winger, but the indications are Edmonton might not be at the top of Heatley's list of destinations he'd like to land.
The Senators have been fielding calls about the high-scoring Heatley since his request for a trade was made public last Wednesday.
Murray has put him on the market, but has told teams he's not just going to give Heatley away.
It's believed the San Jose Sharks are a possibility because GM Doug Wilson wants to shake up his roster after a first round exit. Wilson recently denied he's trying to trade Patrick Marleau.
Talk will heat up between now and the NHL entry draft set for June 26-27 in Montreal, but a $4 million bonus payable to Heatley on July 1 is going to hinder any deal.
