- THE BUZZ:

After going 1-1 against two divisional rivals over the weekend, the Canucks (3-4) will face another Northwest foe tonight in Edmonton against the Oilers (4-2-1). Game time is 6 p.m. on SNET.

- MORE:

Vancouver will be looking for their first win on the road as the squad has a 0-3 away record in which they have been outscored 13-6. The Canucks took a day off yesterday, with tonight's game being their third in four nights.

- HANK:

After recording a helper on Mikael Samuselsson's game winner Saturday, Henrik Sedin stretched his point streak to five games. He now has 10 points (3-7) during that stretch, despite playing three games without his brother. The Swedish centre surpassed Tony Tanti for the sixth spot on the Canucks all-time scoring list with the assist, his 471st career point.

- LAST MEETING:

The Canucks and Oilers split their six matchups last season, each winning three times. Goaltender Roberto Luongo played in just two of the meetings, going 1-1 while allowing seven goals against.

- WEEKEND RECAP:

Luongo was pulled Friday as the Canucks lost 5-3 to the Calgary Flames. The team redeemed itself Saturday in a 2-1 home victory over Minnesota, with Luongo turning aside 17 shots while Vancouver directed 39 shots at the Wild's Niklas Backstrom.
