Now that the Canucks have been suitably graded for their first quarter, it's time to dole out some homework for the second quarter of the season.
Concentrate on fixing that dismal 4-8 road record. Just last year, the Canucks played like they were road warriors. So far this year, they've looked more like the cast from the Road To Avonlea. Currently the Canucks have the second-most road losses in the NHL. Only the Wild with nine have more.
Eight losses! To put that stat in proper perspective, that's more away defeats than the team that inspired the website makeitfive.ca. That's right, even the bloody Toronto Maple Leafs have a better road record than the Vancouver Canucks. Can the Apocalypse be far off?
