Vancouver looks for redemption in Nashville

By HOSEA CHEUNG

THE BUZZ: Needing to redeem themselves after the Carolina loss, the Canucks close out their four-game road trip tonight when they face the Nashville Predators. (5 p.m. PT, SNET)

IN NET:

Roberto Luongo will try to keep impressing leading up to the Olympics as the Vancouver goaltender has won four of his last five starts. Over the month of November and December, he has only allowed more than two goals twice in 10 games.

KEEP EYE ON:

Nashville's defenceman Shea Weber could potentially play for Team Canada in February but right now, he'll be focusing on breaking his six-game pointless skid. Over that time, he's also been a minus-three.

LAST MEETING:

Vancouver won three of the four matchups against the Preds last year with Henrik Sedin leading the season series with four points, while Kyle Wellwood had two goals and one assist.
