While his wife plots a divorce, and a secret love child has now emerged, Tiger Woods has taken to playing golf alone at night to ease his mind, say reports.
The Athlete of the Decade is reportedly sneaking out of his Florida mansion in the cover of darkness to drive balls at a nearby golf course.
"He goes after dark so he can't be seen. For him, what's more therapeutic than hitting golf balls, the thing he's best at in the whole world?" a source told US weekly.
Woods has not been seen publicly since the infamous car crash on Nov. 27 that first exposed the details of his extramarital shenanigans.
Woods has been apparently cooped up alone in his Florida home while his world crumbles around him while his wife Elin Nordegren has taken their children to Sweden. She has hired top Hollywood divorce attorney Sorrell Trope as a breakup seems 100% certain.
He has good reason to hide, as Woods' troubles only deepen by the day.
On Friday, the UK Mirror reported that one of his mistresses claims to have had a love child with Woods and is now asking for $2.6 million for her silence.
Theresa Rogers, 48, reportedly had a daughter in 2003 after a fling with the golfer.
She says she had a five-year relationship with Woods before his 2004 marriage, and was actively trying to get pregnant with his baby.
Rogers, too, has hired a top Los Angeles celebrity lawyer - Gloria Allred - to represent her, according to the Mirror.
The same lawyer is already believed to have negotiated a $4-million deal for another of Woods' alleged mistresses, 34-year-old New York club promoter Rachel Uchitel, in return for her silence.
Meanwhile, the previously quiet and bland golfer apparently began his extramarital love life with a pair of bad influences, according to msnbc.com, quoting one of Woods' mistresses.
“He was always palling around with Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan," the woman told msnbc. “They’re the ones who showed him the way.”
The pair are well known for their own “indiscretions.”
Since the scandal broke, Barkley says he and Jordan have been unable to reach Woods, who has reportedly changed his cell phone number.
“I am so pissed that they have got him holed up,” Barkley told the Sporting News. “He is a 33-year-old grown man. He did something wrong to his wife. He has to answer to her and his kids. That’s it. But this notion that he is hiding out ... I mean he hasn’t shown his face in almost two weeks.”
