Steve Nash to train with Whitecaps reserve
Tickets don't come cheap - $250 for public tickets
By BOB MACKIN, 24 HOURS

Two-time NBA most valuable player Steve Nash will train with the Vancouver Whitecaps residency reserve team from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Brockton Oval, but it won't be cheap to watch.

Nash grew up playing soccer in Victoria and is a part-owner of the Whitecaps' 2011 entry in Major League Soccer.

Public tickets are $250 and include a private post-practice reception. A tax receipt for $160 will be issued. Proceeds benefit the Whitecaps Foundation.

You can see Nash play for free Saturday at 3 p.m. in David Lam Park at the Showdown in Downtown.
