The head of the Canadian Soccer Association said no Canadian players or staff were involved in an alleged match-fixing incident last month.
"The Canadian Soccer Association has not been contacted by UEFA or FIFA in respect of this match," said general secretary Peter Montopoli.
UEFA, the European soccer federation, detected irregular betting patterns during Macedonia's 3-0 friendly win over Canada on Nov. 14 in Skopje and suspended Bulgarian referee Anton Genov.
Four Canadian players were at the centre of a match-fixing scandal in 1986 at the Merlion Cup in Singapore. Chris Cheuden, Hector Marinaro, David Norman and Igor Vrablic were suspended by the CSA.
