A top U.S. snowboarding has totally bailed on the Vancouver Games after embarrassing photos surfaced online.
Scotty Lago, who won the snowboarding bronze, has left the Olympics — apparently voluntarily — after the website TMZ posted a picture of him showing a young woman bending over to kiss the medal, which was being held in front of Lago's groin.
Lago has his T-shirt pulled up in that photo. In a second photo, in which the woman is biting the medal, the Team USA logo on Lago's shirt is clearly visible.
Lago has reportedly apologised to U.S. officials and left Vancouver.
