I met this brilliant and amazing women from Scotland who came here on a working visa, we instantly hit it off. I remember the first day we met like it was yesterday ! I remember walking her home in the rain the second time we met I held her umbrella and put my arm around her waist and held her tight we must of talked for ten hours that day and she sent me a text that night. I felt like I was on top of the world , meanwhile trying to keep my composure so I asked her if we could exchange numbers and if she would like to come out to my softball game and she said yes! I was so ecstatic and that night sent her a text asking her if it was Friday yet because I could hardly wait to see her again! We had an amazing time together and she is back in Scotland now .She has been gone for three months now and I miss her dearly and think about her everyday.We Skype and email each other and both love each other very much. Yes it is hard being away from her and if it wasn't for her love, support and understanding I don't think I could of done this! I just want to let people who are in long distance relationships know that they can work because if you truly love someone you can get through anything and it makes you appreciate your loved one so much more! I will never take that for granted. So don't listen to the naysayers who say long distance relationships don't work! Anyways I love you Jenn and can't wait for you to be back in my arms! I really hope this gets published so I can send this article to her by mail.
