Markeng Chorney would rather try solving problems on his own than to beg for help, but he resorted to posting a 30 minute video of himself asking people to help his family. His nephew Andre was taken away by social service workers “to put him in a full time day care” and they never brought Andre back to his loving family again. When Andre was born, his mom Ciera tried to put give him a temporary full time custody to his grandmother, because she didn’t think she was capable for raising him while struggling with a crack addiction. However, a social worker advised her not to do so and encouraged her to raise Andre herself. She believed in the social worker and tried to quit her addiction to raise her son with the help of her perfectly capable and abstinent family. Yet later on the social workers threatened her family that they would take Andre if they don’t kick his mother out in the streets, only because she was having trouble getting over her addiction. Her family wanting to keep Andre at all cost, kicked Ciera out of their home. Not long after, they came back to take Andre away from the family by tricking them into believing that they were getting him back later that day. The video explains the story in detail, but the message here is clear. Markeng and his family was wronged by people who are supposed to help their situation, instead of worsening it. He needs financial aid or free legal help to battle against these workers and bring Andre back to his family where he belongs.
