VANCOUVER, BC - Wishlist Foundation, a Pearl Jam fan-run grassroots nonprofit organization, is hosting fundraiser events around the Wednesday, December 4th Pearl Jam concert at Rogers Arena. The fundraiser will be conveniently held at The Pint Public House at 455 Abbott Street in Gastown from 3:00 PM until show time and will benefit charities CHILD Foundation and Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, two of many deserving organizations the Wishlist Foundation fundraisers will benefit over the course of Pearl Jam’s fall tour.

Known as preparty fundraisers, the Wishlist events draw thousands of Pearl Jam fans from all over the world to one location in each city on the tour. The events are both a celebration of the passionate Pearl Jam fan community and a way for fans to support local charitable organizations.

Fundraiser attendees can make donations to receive incentive items like Pearl Jam inspired t-shirts, buttons, accessories and more and can enter raffles to win fan-donated Pearl Jam memorabilia. There will also be live and silent auctions that feature autographed and rare Pearl Jam and pop culture items. All proceeds from the raffle and auction will go directly to CHILD Foundation and Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.

“The Wishlist preparty is our way of giving back to charities that our near and dear to our hearts,” states Vancouver volunteer Clayton Paakspuu, “Even though we are just one stop on the tour, we feel like a part of something bigger, something unstoppable."

Pearl Jam just wrapped up the first half of their two-leg, twenty-four date North American tour in New Orleans with the band’s headlining performance at Voodoo Music + Arts Experience. The second leg of the tour commences in Dallas on November 15 and closes in the band’s hometown of Seattle on December 6.

Pearl Jam’s much-anticipated tenth studio album, Lightning Bolt, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 list selling over 165,000 copies in its first week, making it the biggest rock debut of 2013. Lightning Bolt also held the top of the iTunes Overall Albums Chart and Rock Albums Chart. Internationally, it became the #1 album on iTunes in 56 countries. The single “Sirens” was #1 in 18 countries and also topped the iTunes rock song along with “Mind Your Manners”.
