Makeup 4 Change was a charity event that aimed to celebrate beauty and femininity and to support Passion Foundation by raising funds and awareness. It took place on March 18, 2014 in the Saywell Hall Atrium at SFU Burnaby. During the event, participants had their makeup done by makeup artists from Blanche Macdonald Centre and John Casablancas Institute, for a minimum donation of $3. Everyone was welcome to donate a minimum $3 to enter a raffle draw for some prizes.

Proceeds of the event went to Passion Foundation, an organization dedicated to empowering and supporting the lives of young women, ages 11-24. They provide resources and opportunities such as those for literacy enhancement, social development, and employment skills. One of their initiatives is Global Sorority, which is a leadership development program offered to young women in many countries. Passion Foundation hopes to open an SFU chapter to support this initiative.

Makeup 4 Change would like to thank their sponsors: Nesters Market, The Body Shop, SFU Bookstore, Bon Chaz, SFU Renaissance Café, and Higher Grounds Coffee Shop. We would also like to thank the makeup artists and photographers that volunteered for the event. Lastly, we would like to thank all those who participated, donated, and supported Passion Foundation through Makeup 4 Change.
